Yesterday, a DTL Crew member made the case for a horse on the live show.
We dug deeper, the crew chimed in, and the horse won the finale at
20-1. Ciaran cashed.
He then told his wife he “broke even.” In racing marriages, that means
the money is safe, the evidence is gone, and nobody needs to open the betting app.
Frank’s key horse needed one more jump. Unfortunately, Santa Anita insists
on paying at the actual finish line. We’ve filed a complaint.
Frank also promised a shorter intro today. His report is nine pages.
Apparently the first eight are a loading screen. By the time you reach
his first selection, the horse has retired to stud.

Here are Frank’s and Ciaran’s A/B grades for
Santa Anita Races 8–10.
A’s are primary contenders; B’s are backups.
They agree in places. Please remain calm—neither has admitted it yet.

Grades as supplied. Ciaran lists #4 in both A and B for Race 9.
Check scratches and changes before playing.
Frank brings enough backup to invade a small country.
Ciaran prefers a shorter list and a longer explanation afterward.

Race IQ has selections for Gulfstream and Churchill today, too.
Because apparently ten races at Santa Anita aren’t enough opportunities
to yell at a television.

Back live Sunday
Bring a longshot and a reason. Yesterday a crew member helped find a
20-1 winner. That is considerably more useful than typing “I had him”
eleven seconds after the race.

Mark’s Insight:
We’re trying to shorten the newsletter. Frank sent nine pages,
Ciaran sent multiple tickets, and I added this paragraph.
Management has identified the problem. Unfortunately, it’s management.
We’ve scheduled a meeting to discuss it, but Frank is still delivering
the opening remarks.
See you at the races,
