Yesterday, a DTL Crew member made the case for a horse on the live show.
We dug deeper, the crew chimed in, and the horse won the finale at
20-1. Ciaran cashed.
He then told his wife he “broke even.” In racing marriages, that means
the money is safe, the evidence is gone, and nobody needs to open the betting app.
Frank’s key horse needed one more jump. Unfortunately, Santa Anita insists
on paying at the actual finish line. We’ve filed a complaint.
Frank also promised a shorter intro today. His report is nine pages.
Apparently the first eight are a loading screen. By the time you reach his
first selection, the horse has retired to stud.

Four wagers. One busy finish.
Today’s late menu packs the $1 Late Pick 4, $3 All Turf Pick 3,
$3 Late Pick 3 and $5 Late Double into the final four races.
The All Turf Pick 3 uses R7, R9 and R10;
the Late Pick 3 uses R8, R9 and R10.
Four ways to cash, and four separate explanations for why you were right
until the last leg. Please keep your excuses organized by wager type.
Today’s tickets: put the opinions to work
Here are both sets of proposed bets. The dollar amount at the start is
the stake per combination; the amount in parentheses is the ticket cost.
These are separate approaches—choose what fits your budget.

Back live Sunday
Bring a longshot and a reason. Yesterday a crew member helped find a 20-1
winner. That is considerably more useful than typing “I had him”
eleven seconds after the race.

Mark’s Insight:
We’re trying to shorten the newsletter. Frank sent nine pages,
Ciaran sent multiple tickets, and I added this paragraph.
Management has identified the problem. Unfortunately, it’s management.
We’ve scheduled a meeting to discuss it, but Frank is still delivering
the opening remarks.
See you at the races,
The Double Trouble Live Crew
