Good morning, gang!
Today’s Churchill Downs card features
Super Costly, Uncle With Money, and Fraudster.
Either we’re going horse racing, or somebody published
Frank’s financial autobiography.
Ciaran wanted credit for spotting all three. We reminded him
that reading the horse names isn’t handicapping. He’s requested
a second opinion—from himself.

Today’s Race IQ selections
Top three in ranked order. Odds shown are the top choice’s morning line.

Race 6 deserves a closer look
#4 Modern Sound — 3/1 morning line
earns a 96.00 Race IQ rating, six points
clear of second-ranked #12 Diagram—the
largest first-to-second rating gap on this card.
The supplied form also flags a class drop, with Mike Maker
training and Tyler Gaffalione riding.
Frank heard “Modern Sound” and assumed we’d finally upgraded
his microphone. We’re actually pricing a mute button.

|
Two prices in the model’s top three
Race 6: #9 Super Costly — 15/1 morning line.
Third in the rankings, behind Modern Sound and Diagram.
Also the working title of Frank’s betting seminar.
Race 7: #2 Uncle With Money — 12/1 morning line.
Third behind Unbridled Freedom and Pirate Ship.
Ciaran’s already asked whether the horse accepts adoption applications.
|
The finale has its own comedy department
Race IQ puts #12 Shot At Perfection ahead of
#11 Fraudster and #10 Market Strategy.
Mark wants perfection. Frank has a strategy.
Ciaran’s demanding we stop looking at him when we say the other name.
|
|
Keep the tickets sensible.
Today’s card flags all nine races for spread coverage, so be
selective about which sequences you play. Race 5 also has several
first-time starters among the leading selections.
These are the card’s pre-race rankings and morning lines.
Check current scratches and prices before betting.

P.S.
Frank says he’s only betting horses that “speak to him.”
If yours starts talking, Frank, put the bourbon down and call us.
